Jokate Mwegelo has decided to delete all photos on her Instagram page this comes after She was appointed by Tanzania president John Pombe Magufuli to be the District Commissioner of Kisarawe.
Jokate has always used her instagram page to post personal pictures and promote her business. It looks like jokate wants to re-brand himself again as a leader but not as an actress or entrepreneur.
Tanzanian singer Ali Saleh Gentamilan famously know as Alikiba has for the first time spoken on his ex-girlfriend Jokate Mwegelo’s appointment as Kisarawe District Commissioner by President John Pombe Magufuli.
“Siwezi kuzungumzia hilo lakini kiufupi nilifurahi na ninampa hongera,” Alikiba said.
His words come days after Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli announced the appointment of Jokate Mwegelo as Kisarawe Pwani District Commissioner.
Jokate Mwegelo once dated “Seduce Me hit maker. Jokate is a Tanzanian actress and a serious entrepreneur who is the C.E.O and brains behind the wildly successful Kidoti Loving, a fashion brand dealing mainly with hair, clothing and accessories.
Some of her followers however concluded that Jokate’s long silence was because of her ex-Alikiba’s April 19 wedding to a Kenyan lady, Amina Khalef.
Tanzanian president John Magufuli has appointed actress and Ali Kiba’s ex girlfriend Jokate Mwegelo as the District commissioner of Kisarawe District.
The former Miss Tanzania second runners up who has been the youth league leader of the ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) a position she was appointed to last year.
She holds a Bachelors degree on Political Science from the University of Dar Es Salaam and was at one time listed among the top 30 under 30 entrepreneurs for her company Kidoti Loving.

Jokate Mwegelo is also a successful actress having featured in many films. She recently resurfaced on social media after four month, She dated music sensation Ali Kiba before he tied the knot to his wife Amina earlier this year.
